East Region
The East Region of Singapore is one of the five regions in the city-state. The region is the 2nd most densely populated among the five, and has the smallest land area. Bedok is the region's most populous town and Tampines is the regional centre of the area. Comprising 11,000 hectares, it includes six planning areas and is also home to Singapore's Changi Airport and Paya Lebar Airbase

Bedok has transformed into the vibrant town it is today, with a good mix of modern amenities and
nature. The Outdoor Play Corridor is a dedicated cycling and pedestrian paths that connects
Bedok Reservoir Park to Bedok Town Centre and East Coast Park.

Pasir Ris Park is a popular hangout for residents of the town, with its proximity to the beach.
The park contains a 6ha mangrove forest which is well-known among nature lovers.
Pasir Ris is also known for the various resorts and chalets in the area, where residents and Singaporeans like to go for
a quick getaway. The town’s dedicated cycling network path makes it convenient for cyclists to get around the town.
